9th Street, Manhattan Beach, CA

We are excited to feature our most recently completed project in Manhattan Beach; this modern beach house has sweeping 180 degree views from Palos Verdes to Malibu.  Located steps from downtown Manhattan Beach and the sand, this build was designed and built to bridge outdoor and indoor living.

Hermosa Beach Design/ Build

Perched atop one of Hermosa Beach's rolling beach hills, the Silver Street home was our first project in Hermosa Beach.  It turned out beautifully, and sold while we were still in construction.  Because of it's unique location it features 360 degree views of Palos Verdes, Downtown LA and of course the Pacific ocean.  It came in at 3,400 sq ft with 4 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths, plus an office.   The blue kitchen was unique and a show stopper.  I love when the client chooses color in their finish selections.  Having said that, this was a classic California Coastal build and will bring timelessness to the neighborhood. As always we are happy to be apart of the Southbay community,

This project was also a design/ build for Denton Developments.  This process can speed projects along, and bring the cost of construction down.  Our "value engineering" philosophy allows for us to design a floor plan that minimizes building costs, using engineering to our advantage.   Our client brought us on early in this development process.  This means we were able to give them anticipatory design advice that was cost and time beneficial.

This project is another success of Richard Haynes of Manhattan Pacific Realty and Kate Lestor of Kate Lestor Interiors. It is always a pleasure and an honor to work with these two. Be sure to check out their other work.  Photographer: Amy Bartlam

Avenue C, Modern Farmhouse In Southbay

This modern day farm house turned out beautifully.  The owner driven design aesthetic created a clean white palate to showcase some key features: a beautiful La Cornue range, raw brass hardware, unique lighting fixtures and indoor munitions, to name a few.  With special attention to tile detail and design the kitchen has become a stunning centerpiece.  In addition to beauty, functionality was also important to its owners driving the design which included a 4 unit laundry room and a basement for extra living space.  Hope you enjoy the finished product.

Grant Avenue is Finished!

After much anticipation (on our part!) and 6 months time the Grant Avenue North Redondo Beach Townhomes are now complete.  All three units have been buffed out by a cleaning crew, photographed and are now welcoming buyers by appointment.  We are proud of the way they turned out and excited to share them with you.

For more information on these units including layout scheme, visit our home page or click here.

And don't forget to check out our page in the upcoming December issue of Southbay Digs Magazine.  The spread was thoughtfully prepared by our Realtor, Manhattan Pacific Realty.

Update: All 3 units have been sold.

"We should be on the beach right now…."

As a Contractor, I feel fortunate because everyday I get to be outside and build beautiful homes in one of the best places on Earth, the Southbay of Los Angeles.  Particularly close to my heart is Redondo Beach.  I spent 6 months on the Avenues just west of PCH building a custom Coastal Plantation style home.   It was an incredible build and we are so happy with the way it turned out.  Watching this home, and any home, come to life from the pages of a blue print never ceases to thrill me and I could talk about it for hours.  And on this particular occasion I actually got to talk about it for hours!  I want to share with you my interview on our Avenue A project.  It's a really fun video and a glimpse into the thoughts, motivations and passions of a builder.  I hope you enjoy it.

Outstanding Landscape Award

We couldn't be more proud of our custom home build on Monte D'Oro.  The neighbors and community in the Hollywood Riviera were great to us.  Thats why we were so excited when the Torrance Riviera Garden Club recognized our Landscape Design work with the Outstanding Landscape Award.

We can't take credit without recognizing Patricia Lang for her keen eye for design.  Her use of  Succulents and California Native Flora and Fauna created a beautiful and sustainable view for the home owners and the neighborhood.  We are so thankful she worked with us on this project!
